Service Contract
|
Although manufacturer's warranties have lengthened in term over the years, extended service contracts remain as popular as ever.
A service contract gives the customer the opportunity to increase coverage up to 6 years or 100,000 miles, depending on the vehicle and the service contract company. |

We believe that extended service contracts are important because they increase the satisfaction that our customers have with their vehicles. Despite the high level of quality that our products have, a mechanical breakdown can occur at some point. If a customer does not have to pay for that repair out of his or her pocket, that customer is going to be more satisfied with the vehicle and with us.
Extended service contracts are available on all new and most used vehicles. We offer contracts from several companies, including Ford ESP, Toyota Extra Care and Signature Care. Each has plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The most basic plan will cover powertrain items, which primarily consist of internally-lubricated engine and transmission parts. A plan such as this will protect an owner from many types of expensive mechanical repairs.
The next level usually includes additional mechanical and electrical items such as brake components, air conditioning parts, suspension, steering and power accessories.
Some plans have an additional level that will include on-board computers and sophisticated electronic components.
Plans generally include towing, substitute transportation and travel protection. It is important to remember that no extended service contract will cover misuse, negligence or maintenance items.
One of our Business Managers will be able to give you complete details on the programs and coverage available for your vehicle. |
